THE CHALLENGE

What if we made the task of declaring income tax simpler?

Most Brazilians receive less money than they are entitled to in their income tax returns, either due to lack of information or difficulty using current systems.

In January 2022, dTax approached us to help create a web platform for income tax declaration that was more transparent and intuitive, providing taxpayers with tools to generate more returns on their declarations.

With this challenge in mind, the dTax service system was born.

| LINEAR AND OBJECTIVE

We designed the dTax UX/UI focused on cleaning up pollution,  transmit information in a visual way so that the user feels that they have control of the process and can see the beginning, middle and end of the statement.

Timeline indicating remaining steps and link to previous steps.

HELP FROM PROFESSIONALS:

Link to speak to an accountant visible at all times.

VISUAL AND PLAYFUL:

Menus for items such as Payments and Income are always presented in a visual and intuitive way.

STEP BY STEP:

The process is linear and the user only sees what they need for their declaration.

A central point of the dTax proposal is to make the user more confident in the income tax declaration process through a more objective and simple experience.

To meet this demand, we developed a linear navigation flow with dTax in which the user selects only what is relevant to their case and goes through the forms in sequence.

To avoid surprises, review, and doubts, dTax’s own platform counters are available during and after the process.

And to ensure that you are refunding everything you can, we helped dTax develop its Restitua Mais questionnaire, which uses artificial intelligence and analyzes the user’s profile to understand whether they may or may not be leaving money with the tax authorities.

Before starting, the user selects only what is relevant to their case and fills it out linearly, with fewer forms, in a more interactive and objective way.

The declaration now has a user experience.

Few taxpayers know that by choosing to make a donation through their tax return to funds for Children and the Elderly, they can increase their refund by up to 3% of the tax due.

Before submitting the declaration via dTax, the user sees a page highlighting this possibility.

Users have support from the dTax team of accountants throughout the process, whether to review the declaration or answer questions.

The security of professional help helps users avoid headaches  with income tax returns.
